The Bilimora Parsi Anjuman Trust Funds has completed its first part of the annual distribution of aid to needy Parsi families in and around the south Gujarat town in the first week of May, notes a communication from its managing trustee Marazban Baria, with the next part being scheduled for December this year. Groceries include rice (up to a maximum of 30 kg depending on family size), wheat (30 kg), pulses (15 kg), sugar (six kg), ghee (three kg), tea (three kg) and oil (six lt). Also, this year 10 m of mulmul was distributed. Completed at a cost of Rs 2,50,000, Wadia says that he is thankful to their "most dedicated staff who worked very hard with me to complete the task in time.”
