The Best Experimental Film Award at the Cotton City International Film Festival 2019 in Akola, Maharashtra, and the Critics Award (Best Film) Gold at the Kala-Samruddhi International Film Festival 2019 in Bombay were given to filmmaker and writer Mehernosh Kapadia (pictured) for his first Hindi feature film Uhi Milte Rahenge (We will go on meeting like this) on June 26 and 27, 2019. Kapadia has also made two short films, Wedding Anniversary (2017) and Safar (Journey, 2018).     For Uhi..., Kapadia stated that he directed, played the main lead, wrote the screenplay and dialogs as well as produced it from his provident fund accumulation. He shared acting credits with another Parsi actor, Rusi Mistry, in the movie. Originally from Bharuch, Kapadia obtained a master’s degree in commerce and law and gained membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries. Having worked in legal departments at Tatas, Mahindra,   ICICI Bank and the Great Eastern Shipping Group among others, in 2009, while on a sabbatical from his career, he wrote five novels and a book of quotes. He is now planning to produce two English films and is looking for funding and investor support.                                   ...
