As a child in Bombay, I lived around the corner from the Grant Road railway station. I took the train to school, and later to college, from that station, and often entered the B. Merwan & Sons restaurant (pictured) for a mawa cake. It was so easy to do as B. Merwan was just 10 meters across from the railway platform.
That was 70 years ago… and B. Merwan is still going strong.
