Mawa cakes, and more

As a child in Bombay, I lived around the corner from the Grant Road railway station. I took the train to school, and later to college, from that station, and often entered the B. Merwan & Sons restaurant (pictured) for a mawa cake. It was so easy to do as B. Merwan was just 10 meters across from the railway platform.  That was 70 years ago… and B.
