Also felicitated at the function on August 23, 2012 was Zubin Taraporewalla for his achievements as captain of the Bombay University’s table tennis team and his proficiency in the game.
About 101 Zoroastrians had come together at the Cawasji Beheramji Divecha Khan Bahadur Hall to celebrate the occasion. Earlier, a jashan was performed at the Thana Patell Agiary. At the function meritorious students received recognition for their academic achievements in the SSC, HSC and degree examinations, Udhnawala mentions. Fun and games were organized by Havovi and Kaizad Billimoria and enjoyed by all. The function ended with a vote of thanks and the hope that there would be many more such celebrations in the spirit of fellowship, happiness and harmony.
