In the article "Incantations for the Festival of the Farmers and for the Consecration of Gravel (nirang I jashan I burzigaran o nirang I sang-reza yastan)” published in Dabir No 5, 2018, journal of the Samuel Jorden Center for Persian Studies and Culture, University of California, Irvine, Dastur (Dr) Firoze Kotwal emphasizes the importance of the nirang prayer and how its recitation can lessen many hardships and add to the quality of life.
