Zerlina Anklesaria (left), daughter of Swati and Kaizad and Evana Anklesaria, daughter of Arti and Dr Kurush, were navjoted on April 4, 2014 in Kota, Rajasthan. The sole residing Parsi family, they have lived there over 70 years. The last initiation ceremony in the city was done around 60 years ago, informs family patriarch Dr Cawas Anklesaria. Two priests from Bombay, Ervads Marazban Pavri and Aspi Antia, performed the navjotes (which were preceded by a jashan) witnessed by around 30 Parsis.
