The second Covid wave that began in mid-March 2021 has severely impacted members of the community. Recognizing this, The World Zoroastrian Organisation (WZO) Trust Funds and The World Zoroastrian Organisation Trust have raised funds and provided relief to 477 individuals amounting to nearly one-and-a-half crore rupees in April and June this year.
Due to loss of income caused by the closure of places of worship, 114 mobeds were given Rs 28,50,000. Fifty-three self-employed persons, similarly afflicted, received Rs 10,95,000.
