Thanks to the initiative of the Clean and Green Charitable Trust (CGCT) three solar panels were installed recently in Udvada, informs Neville Velati of the CGCT team. Valued at Rs 6.30 lakh with a microgrid worth Rs 25 lakh they were sponsored by Tata Power. The solar panels will substantially reduce electricity costs for streetlights and ensure consistent power supply for the village’s composting machine, reinforcing the community’s commitment to a greener, more eco-conscious future.
