Disposal of the dead

With time everything changes. It is now time to review disposal of the dead in the Towers of Silence. Even the solar panels in the dakhmas are non-functional. If a survey is done to see how many Towers of Silence there are in India and how many cities have aramgahs we will find that only Gujarat and Maharashtra have dakhmas. Most places in the rest of India have aramgahs, such as Srinagar, Delhi, Lucknow, Madras, Calicut, etc. Our head priests should be advised to opt for aramgahs which have been functional in North and South India for over 100 years.   Lt Col F.
