For over 45 years the London Pilsner (LP) Brewery building stood out as an iconic landmark on the Sion-Panvel highway that many south Bombay residents traversed while proceeding to the Western Ghats resorts of Lonavla and Mahabaleshwar. But now the dilapidated factory structure in the heart of a valuable, commercial district is to be torn down, stated The Times of India (TOI) of March 22, 2021.
