Assistant professor in Surat’s SPB English Medium College of Commerce Farida Patel (pictured) acquired her doctorate in philosophy and commerce from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University in December 2019. Her research titled "A study of Environmental Disclosure Practices among select Indian Companies with Special Reference to Global Reporting Initiative Guidelines” was done under the guidance of the College’s associate professor Dr Heena Oza.
