Lack of "proper publicity and effort to attract more guests to use the (Mengusi Parsi) Dharamshala (pictured below)” is a "major impediment,” according to a note dated February 20, 2017 from the board of trustees of the Delhi Parsi Anjuman (DPA) received by Parsiana from reader Rusi Sorabji. The trustees have been mulling over the situation for "the last two years” and have concluded they need "professionalism, using modern methods with the latest technology… to run the Dharamshala successfully.” While appreciating the tireless service that Dhun Bagli has provided to the DPA for the last 40 years as manager of the guesthouse, the trustees have requested her to "make way for a change” in the management of the Dharamshala. A formal 
reception area, a spruced up dining area and improved housekeeping are on the cards. Dhun will provide guidance to the new professionals; the trustees hope that she will continue to reside on the Dharamshala premises and "always be there for all of us even after retirement.”
The efficient functioning of the Kaikhusru Pallonji Katrak Daremeher, the Dharamshala and the Hall have "been our firm priority, and a healthy financial status for the DPA, our goal,” states the note. The trustees have identified areas where "prudence and care was required.” These are: very high electricity and water bills, inadequate income from the Dharamshala and underutilization of the Hall.
The write-up mentions that several remedial measures have been put into place to improve electricity and water consumption. The trustees, having been unsuccessful in obtaining a second priest, have decided to get the services of a paramobed to help Ervad Cawas Bagli and are hopeful of appointing one soon.
