Describing himself as a "multi-genre disc jockey (DJ) who caters to weddings, clubs and events,” Aarish Daruwalla told Parsiana that he was "truly humbled and grateful” to be recognized by Event FAQs at WOW Awards Asia as DJ and entrepreneur in the wedding and corporate world category. The event was held at the Jio World Convention Centre on August 18, 2024. "It was a privilege to share my journey and passion in front of industry experts… This recognition is a testament to the dedication, honesty and hard work I’ve poured into my craft over the years,” Daruwalla wrote on his social media account.

"I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my family which has always believed in me and my love for music,” added the 31-year-old self-taught DJ. Aarish, his younger brother Rehan and father Sarosh, founder of the Mazda Studio brand, are a trio of known faces at many community events, engaged in photography or providing music (see "Mazda and the media,” Parsiana, April 7-20, 2022). "We want to be a one-stop shop for people to be able to understand the community and the persons behind the community… We talked to a lot of people…There is a lot of good work happening in the community, a lot of philanthropy,” Aarish had told Parsiana during the interview, about the series of programs the trio produced and put up on YouTube. These were spread over nearly 18 weeks from August 21 to December 25, 2021. The programs, ranging in length from 15 minutes to over an hour, showcased prominent Parsi personalities.
