Education seminar

The 15th Waldorf/Rudolf Steiner Education Seminar organized by Aban Bana was held in Khandala from May 19 to June 1, 2013 on the premises of the Dhunmai Cawasji Boarding School. The two-week camp, which is held during the School’s summer holidays, imparts the fundamentals of Waldorf/Rudolf Steiner Education, a system based upon spiritual insight with a holistic approach to the growing child, keeping in mind the development of the mind (thinking), heart (feeling) and limbs (doing, action). Bana, who has been initiator, coordinator as well as organizer of the course since 1999, explains in an email sent to Parsiana that the Waldorf school curriculum is based upon stages of child development.

Cultural programs showcasing their talents were also organized by participants, many of whom were principals of schools and heads of educational institutions.
Bana mentions that this is "probably the least expensive Waldorf teachers training in the world” and there is a bursary for those who need assistance.
