The Delhi Parsi Anjuman (DPA) will organize a performance of a new comedy in Gujarati, Baairaon No Bahubali (Women’s Bahubali) at the DPA Auditorium on September 1, 2018.
The play under the banner of Dinyar Contractor Productions will have an all-Parsi cast comprising veteran theater personality Contractor, Vistasp Gotla, Meiron Damania, Kodak, Sally Kasad, Anaushka Dantra, S. Desai, Rohinton Chesun. Written by Uttam Gada and produced and directed by Contractor, the laugh-a-minute comedy is a DPA event to garner funds to complete the renovation and modernization of the 65-year-old Delhi Parsi (Mengusi) Dharamshala which provides transit accommodation to all visitors in central Delhi.
The event and donation drive has been organized by the undersigned for the DPA, with the support of the DPA trustees, and the Social Centre Committee. The event will integrate the vibrant Gujarati and Parsi communities in support of this noble cause.
