Former Test umpire Dara Dotiwalla donated all important equipment of the India vs Australia tied Test match played at Madras in 1986-87 to the Parsi Gymkhana in Bombay at the end of the All Parsi Tournament during the last season. Among the paraphernalia he presented were two bails, one ball counter, scissors (cutter), cassette of the Test match and blazer lapel, noted a write-up by Surat based Keki Doodhwala, also a former umpire. Dotiwalla handed over the objects to Khodadad Yazdegardi, vice president and cricket secretary of the Parsi Gymkhana on March 27, 2016. Also present at the function was cine star Boman Irani.

During his career Dotiwalla officiated at six Test matches and nine one-day internationals apart from more than 50 first class matches, according to Doodhwala who forwarded the highlights of the veteran’s career to Parsiana. He had further served as a member of the Umpires Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India and was vice president for several terms of the Mumbai Cricket Association. For the one day World Cup in 1987 he was kept as a reserve umpire.
As revealed by Bakhtiar Dadabhoy in "Treasure trove of cricket” (Books, Parsiana, February 7, 2012) the only match in Test history (against England) where both the umpires were Parsis — Dotiwalla and Pilloo Reporter — was played in Delhi from December 12 to 17, 1984.
