The mobile banking services introduced by The Zoroastrian Co-operative Bank Limited (ZCBL) will help the Bank to acquire new customers, "particularly the tech-savvy younger generation and high net worth corporate clients for personal banking,” stated Daljit Dogra, ZCB’s managing director and chief executive officer.
Their digital service, corporate internet banking provides unlimited transfers at no cost, and more efficient rates, in addition to the convenience of banking from anywhere. Customers can enquire about the status of their cheques, request stop payments, mini statements and other services at their convenience. Their Zoro Mobile app introduced in December 2021 provides round-the-clock access to customers to their accounts, ease of transfer of funds, checking of balances and transactions, in addition to making service requests like updating customer email-IDs and mobile numbers. The initiative will shore up low-cost current and saving accounts deposits, thereby adding to the bottom line of the Bank, noted Dogra.
A write-up from the Bank notes that they offer hassle free loans for housing, cars and vehicles, education and businesses. The turnaround time for retail loans is two to three working days, they state. "Interest rates of the Bank compare well with the best in the industry.” The Bank has taken steps to strengthen cyber security measures to make banking safe and secure, adds the write-up.
