Parsiana’s strength is its fairness. I look forward to articles by Farrokh Vajifdar. He exposes "dhongidoxes.” However, more editing of the events in various baugs and anjumans will be welcome. E. F. BILLIMORIA

Parsiana comes out more on time of late with news reports. Shortcomings: It is becoming more extremist — never a good thing with a community publication. People will stop subscribing like they had done with Jamé earlier.

Parsiana is the only magazine which keeps Zoroastrians all over the world informed about what’s going on in the community. Every family needs to subscribe to it to regenerate interest in the Zoroastrian religion whose basic tenets are found in every religion. PHIROZ F. KHAMBATTA

Your strength: Introduction of all pages in color. Shortcomings: Big bumper issues are received late. KERSI P. MAHUDAWALA

The editors reply:
The larger issues are posted by around the 15th of March and August as versus the normal posting date of the 7th. As we have limited personnel resources, we fall behind in schedule by a week.
Informative, interactive and a good read.

Parsiana covers topics on Parsis around the world. Parsiana is good to read as it is not a Bombay Parsi Punchayet rubber stamp. Parsiana prints readers’ views also, which creates more interest in reading the magazine. Long live Parsiana!

Erratum
In the item "Tata Trusts’ thrust” (Events and Personalities, Parsiana, February 7, 2013) we had incorrectly mentioned the amount disbursed by the Sir Ratan Tata Trust and Navajbai Ratan Tata Trust during the year as being Rs 17,000 crore. It should be Rs 170 crore, which amounts to $ 33.31 million. Parsiana regrets the error.
