In ancient Iran, just like the dar-e-meher constructed by Zarathushtis to pray before the fire altar, there was also the dar-e-aabaan where they could pray before flowing water at the altar of Avan Ardevisur Banu. There is an old mandate in our deen (religion) to venerate Avan Ardevisur Banu.
