Delhi Dar-e-Meher decks up

The renovated Kaikhusru Pallonji Katrak Dar-e-Meher in Delhi was re-opened for worship on August 2, 2018, with a three-mobed jashan led by Ervad Cawas Bagli. A donation of five lakh rupees from Kainaz and Khurshed Daruwala, procured through the efforts of Delhi Parsi Anjuman (DPA) secretary Adil Nargolwala helped repair the roof and paint and polish the interiors. Additionally, to take care of the smoke from the holy fire and the divas, a new exhaust system with ducting and suction fans on the roof, fans in the main hall, new grills and a fixed iron ladder to go to the roof was also installed from the donation by the Daruwalas and industrialist Cyrus Mistry through their company M/s Sterling and Wilson Private Limited, a Shapoorji Pallonji group company. New display cabinets and light fixtures were also procured.
