Killed in Kerman?

The alleged murder of US based Zarathushti priest Mobed Arash Kasravi (pictured on pg 36) in Kerman, Iran on July 24, 2020 has resulted in Zoroastrian organizations globally and associates of the deceased demanding that Iranian authorities be pressurized to mete out speedy justice to the perpetrators of the crime. Mobeds and paramobeds who had officiated with Kasravi at religious ceremonies in California remember him as being kind and respectful to all. A statement issued by the Federation of Zoroastrian Associations of North America in end July described him as "a highly respected member and religious leader of the Zarathushti community......

More news from the Z community of Iran. After the unfortunate killings of a Z cyclist and a Mobed resident of the USA in Iran now there is media Whatapps clip going around stating that 66 years old Dr Rostam Khosraviani who was the Head of the Tehran Z Anjuman had an affair with his 23 year old secretary and has embraced Shia Islam to marry her after finding out the secretary had become pregnant. Mr Khosraviani was married with two married daughters with children

Around four months ago an aspiring good looking 16 year old Zoroastrian cyclist Mahiyar Farzana was involved in an homicide incident in Yazd and died as reported by the Iran International, VOA Persian service and other Western media. To date no one has been brought to Justice because of the crime. Zoroastrians outside Iran should come to the assistance of the Zoroastrian youth who want to emigrate from Iran.
