Ace at AS

Earning four As at the AS (Advanced Subsidiary) level examination conducted by the Cambridge International Examination Board in 2019, Zeshan Jokhi (pictured) emerged a topper at The Winchester School, Dubai, notes a press release from the family. Last year he had emerged a topper at the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) Year 11 examination (see "IGCSE topper,” Zoroastrians Abroad, Parsiana, January 7, 2019). After attending school from 7.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. he would, on an average, spend three hours a day on home learning that would increase to five hours during examination time when he would focus on revision and solving of papers of earlier examinations. Currently doing his A (Advanced) level (last year of school) he is majoring in physics, chemistry and mathematics and plans to specialize in physics and undertake research in the areas of nuclear, atomic and related fields. ...
