Two of photographer Ayesha Taleyarkhan’s art works were included in the fourth edition of The Art of India, a Times of India (ToI) initiative, at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), in Bombay from February 16 to 23, 2025. The theme of this year’s exhibition, "Hope, Peace and Inclusivity,” encapsulated diverse art forms from all over the country, including Indian folk art, emerging artists, contemporary art and the Indian masters, all under one roof, notes a write-up sent by Taleyarkhan. The idea was to celebrate the creative genius and the plurality of India, as well as encourage people to recognize and buy art.

"I was happy and honored when I was approached by the ToI group to participate in the Bombay edition of the exhibition. In the sea of color artworks, my black and white, graphic, architectural photo artworks brought in a semblance of inclusivity! Along with traditional and digital artworks, there were stunning sculptures on display as well,” wrote Taleyarkhan.
Art lovers and buyers visited the weeklong exhibition and one of Taleyarkhan’s artworks was purchased by "a loving grandmother for her grandson residing in the US.” Art, says the photographer, is a "universal language, but there are several dialects so it is encouraging when artists from the length and breadth of the country, using a variety of materials and pigments, get an opportunity to showcase their work in all its uniqueness at an art exhibition as prestigious as the Art of India.”
