It is our good fortune to be born in a charitable community like ours where funds are available for education, medicine and other causes. If only one more noble gesture could be added for the benefit of our lower middle class, it would bring mental and monetary relief caused during untoward incidents like house collapse, repairs by Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority, post operative care. A transit camp (temporary accommodation) at a reasonable rate or for free would be a great boon.
There are so many vacant flats, houses, open land in baugs and colonies which can easily be converted into rest houses at affordable rates. The tariffs at our dharamshalas and sanatoriums are out of reach for most of us seeking even a short holiday with the family.
Our ancient community is known to care for the less fortunate and share its prosperity with the needy and less fortunate. I am a super senior citizen but very hopeful for the future generation.
