I would be grateful if readers could help me with an inquiry. I am a postgraduate history student at Dublin City University in Ireland and have been researching an Irish revolutionary, artist and composer named Cecil Grange MacDowell who was training as an architect in London around 1911 where he became radicalized and returned shortly thereafter to Ireland under a new name by which he is now better known: Cathal MacDubhghaill.

I have drawn a blank so far on tracing much detail about Cathal’s life in London, apart from census records which reveal that he was lodging at 88 Grove Lane, Camberwell, London with another architectural student, a Parsi gentleman from Bombay named Pherozshah Fardoonji Balsara.
It is likely that these two gentlemen knew each other and were friends, and at the very least were employed by the same architect in London. Would anyone be able to help on how I might go about tracing information about Balsara and any surviving family in Bombay?
