The decision to delay the Bombay Parsi Punchayet trusteeship
elections by a year has generated much resentment
Following two animated and at times emotional back-to-back meetings on October 12, 2021 the Bombay Parsi Punchayet (BPP) trustees by a vote of two-to-two with the chairwoman Armaity Tirandaz exercising her casting vote decided to postpone the thrice delayed trusteeship election for two vacancies to October 2022. The commotion in the second meeting saw BPP trustee Noshir Dadrawala hand in his resignation following the contentious decision.
