The Vevaina family is pleased to announce the Dr Rustam C. Vevaina, MD Scholarship. The Scholarship is to honor my father who was the first Indian to be named chief medical officer of the Indian Railways.
The Scholarship will be awarded to any Parsi girl or boy who has been accepted to any university or position outside India for either undergraduate or graduate studies. The Scholarship will be a one way ticket from any city in India to the accepted position or university abroad.
The student will be selected based on an essay, "How best to solve India’s problems.” All essays must be emailed to James R. Vevaina at: jrvevaina1@gmail .com
Essays must be accompanied by a signed statement that this is the writer’s own work and that s/he did not receive any outside help. Candidates will have 30 days to submit their entries. Please send your essays by August 20, 2022. Dr JAMES VEVAINA
