Stellar performance

Seventeen-year-old grade 12 student Leah Divecha who has been playing the violin for almost 10 years now, has continued her training all through the Covid lockdown through online sessions, notes proud grand-aunt, academician Vispi Balaporia. Accompanied on the piano by her friend and fellow student of the Symphony Orchestra of India Samia Jetha, the duo’s version of Franz Schubert’s Sonatina in A-minor, Op. 137, No. 2 at the Rocky Mountain Ensemble Music Summer Festival, an Ontario, Canada based competition, won them second spot in the ensemble category.
