Phone insurance fraud

Retired bank employee Mehernosh Variava "has been running from pillar to post to get the police to register his complaint of losing rupees four lakhs” to an alleged telephone fraudster for over two years, reported the mid-day of April 4, 2018. Variava had reportedly received a call in January 2016 from one Amarjeet Singh, stating that a bonus of rupees six lakhs had accrued on his life insurance policy.
