Klausman Women in Business Scholarship and that made a monumental change in her confidence to tackle the challenges of life,” said chief guest Dr Sangeeta Pandit, chartered accountant and head of finance of Sydenham Management, Studies, Research and Entrepreneurship Education. She was speaking at the 46th Charter Nite of Zonta Club of Bombay III on March 28, 2025.

Zonta Club president Navaz Dhalla welcomed the gathering while Errick Elavia, past Zonta District 25 governor and Zonta International Membership and Diversity committee member, noted that the Zonta Foundation for Women is celebrating 40 years of international education, service and advocacy programs with the current focus on WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene), to improve the health and welfare of children. Daisee Boga, vice president of Zonta District 25 Area 1, conveyed greetings from Club members from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.
The Woman of the Year Award 2025 was presented to Dr Reena Wani, professor and head of the department of obstetrics and gynecology of HBT Medical College and Dr R. N. Cooper Hospital, Bombay. Encouragement Awards 2025 of Rs 7,000 each went to 13-year-old Ankita Lohar and six-year-old Shravya Meher, both leukemia survivors. Akanksha Kamble, who is hearing impaired, received the Charter Day Project Scholarship of Rs 25,000 to enable her to attend the School for Curatorial Studies in Venice, for specialized training in setting up exhibitions, curating for museums and art conservation.
