In the item "To give back” (Zoroastrians Abroad, Parsiana, September 7-20, 2021), about a scholarship in India instituted by me in the names of my parents Naju and Keki Billimoria, it was mentioned that one of the conditions for the applicants was that the "annual family income is less than Rs 2.5 lakhs a year.”
After further discussions at our end it has been decided that the applicants’ family income should be four lakh rupees or less per year (adjusted for discipline of study, geography and family size, etc).
The four-year scholarship will cover tuition for seven students who have secured admission in engineering, medicine, law or pharmacy colleges. FARROKH BILLIMORIA
