Good morning, Gang Green Nation. I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. I don’t know about everyone else, but to me, it’s a bit annoying seeing more articles written about Zach Wilson’s mom on certain ‘professional’ Jets pages than news on the actual team. In fact, I can’t recall a player’s family member having this much pull with the media during my fandom. While I should be surprised at the lack of journalistic integrity, nothing is really surprising anymore in this day and age – where drama, whether or not relatable, is spun into the news cycle as something worthy to be read by those who publish the articles. And, in some ways, the argument could be made that no one wants to read my paragraphs before they get to the articles in the FC, as well. At least we’ve managed to come full circle here.
