Homavazir to move court tomorrow

Disqualified Bombay Parsi Punchayet (BPP) trusteeship contestant Dr Zuleika Homavazir stated on February 20 she is "moving the court on Monday (February 22)" to ascertain "on what basis have (the BPP) disqualified my candidature" for the March 14 elections.
Her nomination was rejected on the basis that her proposer, Rustom Nanabhoy Jeejeebhoy, whose name appears in the BPP electoral rolls, was a Christian. To be a voter one has to be a Parsi practicing the Zoroastrian faith.
