Jazzman Sorabjee

Former attorney general of India and eminent jurist Soli Sorabjee (pictured) said he would "now spend time organizing jazz festivals as his pastime," having stepped down as president of the India International Center (IIC), reported the Hindustan Times of June 26, 2017. Sorabjee is the president of Capital Jazz which has been organizing Jazz Yatras and Jazz Utsavs in the country for 30 years and is responsible for popularizing this genre of music in India.
