Floral tributes were offered at the statute of Sir Hormusjee Dinshaw on his 160th birth anniversary on April 4, 2017 by the Bombay Parsee Association (BPA), Iran League (IL), Cowasjee Dinshaw Trust, Navsari Parsee Association, Bombay Municipal Corporation and World Alliance of Parsi Irani Zarthoshtis. Sir Hormusji was the founder-patron of the BPA and founder president of IL. Those who garlanded the statue included BPA president, Vispi Dastur, great-grandsons of Sir Hormusji, Saroosh Dinshaw, Adi Mehta, Cmde Aspi Marker, Rustom Cooper and Dr Shernaaz Avari. Hormusji’s great, great, great grandson Jehan Patel was also present.
