The 178th birth anniversary of the Tata conglomerate founder Jamsetji Tata was celebrated on March 3, 2017 with a jashan performed at the Cursetjee Manockjee Shroff Agiary sponsored by The Baug-E-Jamsheed School, run by The Jamshedpur Zoroastrian Education Society, whose parent body is The Jamshedpur Parsee Association (JPA). The jashan was performed by Ervad Mehernosh Dastur, notes Navzar Dotiwala, managing committee member and ex-chairman of JPA.
