Two 12-year-old mobeds Ervad Jehan Madan and Malcolm Bajan joined Ervad Cawas Bagli, head priest of the Delhi Parsi Anjuman in the muktad prayers at Delhi’s Kaikhushru Pallonji Katrak Dar-e-Meher on August 13 and 15, 2017. The young mobeds prayed with Bagli and also received guidance from him on pronunciation and voice intonation. Madan was ordained a navar in June this year at Baroda’s D. D. Umrigar Adaran and Bajan in January 2016 at Dadar’s Rustom Framna Agiary.

Thus was laid the foundation of a new generation of devoted mobeds to continue our religious prayers and rituals in our fire temple. A wonderful new phase of revival and preservation of our prayers and heritage by our youngsters, greatly supported by their parents, marked a joyous beginning to Delhi’s Navroz festivities.
