It was interesting to read about Sarosh Zaiwalla’s book Honour Bound being commended by author Lord Jeffrey Archer ("Hail, Honour Bound,” Zoroastrians Abroad, Parsiana, December 7-20, 2023).
Readers should know that Archer lost his peerage after he was found guilty of perjury and served two years of a four-year jail sentence starting in July 2001. He did not seek reelection as a Member of Parliament (MP). He retained membership of the House of Lords but is a non-affiliate member.
Compare his track record with that of our MPs and members of the Legislative Assemblies, 43% of whom have criminal cases (some serious) against them!
