Between the Fifth North American Zoroastrian Congress (NAZC) in 1985 and the XVII Congress in 2014, both in Los Angeles, DhunMai Dalal (pictured) who had served as co-chair of both the events had impressed her colleagues with her passion to keep the community united. Her passing away on July 3, 2017 at her residence in Los Angeles earned her tributes from local residents of California and the wider fraternity of the Federation of Zoroastrian Associations of North America (FEZANA).
