It was wonderful reading about the 121st salgirah celebrations of the Bai Hirabai Mulla Dar-e-Meher in Nagpur ("Majaa, masti, music,” Parsiana, December 21, 2016). Dilnavaz Bhagwagar has described the four-day event graphically. My sister and I went to Nagpur after 20 years especially for the celebration and enjoyed the hospitality of our friend Peroja Eduljee, the most loved principal of the J. N. Tata Girls High School where we had studied and taught.
The article states: "Former Nagpur Parsis who have migrated to other towns or even countries were present for the agiary’s salgirah celebrations. They have never been disappointed by the continuing warmth with which they are welcomed.” How true! NERGISH DORDI
