Postal puzzle

I have a puzzle that I am keen on solving through the courtesy of your columns. I have consistently noticed that my issues of Parsiana of the seventh of the month, sent by airmail, take between four to five weeks to reach me, whereas the issues of the 21st of the month take only 16 to 18 days. This is not a one-time occurrence, but has been a consistent pattern of receiving the two issues of Parsiana each month for over three years. While it is almost impossible to pinpoint where this delay/discrepancy stems from,/I wonder if any overseas readers who subscribe to Parsiana experience the same problem. I live in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Victoria is on Vancouver Island off the west coast of Canada. Being on an island we usually experience a delay of a day or two in receiving our mail than if we were on the mainland. The question is, why this consistent discrepancy?              Victoria, BC, Canada p.bamji@queensu.ca The editors reply: All subscriber issues are posted at the same time on the 7th or 8th and 21st and the 22nd of each month. ...
