Warmth for seniors

The 55 denizens of Bai Maneckbai P. B. Jeejeebhoy and the Dolat and Hormusji Vandrewala Senior Citizens Centres run by WZO (World Zoroastrian Organisation) Trust Funds at Navsari are "naturally delighted” at having "piped hot water directly in their bathrooms.” Hitherto hot water was supplied in buckets. Providing "41 rooms having 48 points of water supply” at the Centers was possible due to the installation of solar panels, new plumbing and the installation of a water softener plant, funded by the Federation of Zoroastrian Associations of North America (FEZANA) and the World Zarathushti Chamber of Commerce (WZCC). The two bodies jointly raised over Rs 10,00,000 (USD 15,600) for this cause and "remitted them to the WZO Trust Funds,” states a note received by Parsiana from the office of Capt Percy Master, director of WZCC India.
