Eight chikoo farmers from Bordi who suffered a cumulative loss of six lakh rupees due to humidity have been denied their insurance claims because of bureaucratic bungling. Crops damaged due to climatic conditions are insured by the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna scheme.
