In "The weight of words” (Editorial Viewpoint, Parsiana, April 7, 2017), you have rightly stressed many facts which are known to all yet certain sections of the community are in denial.
Despite the fact that dakhmenashini as a time-tested method of disposal of corpses has ceased to be functional due to disappearance of scavenger birds, some Parsis still refuse to acknowledge that the system has collapsed.
