Energy center stage

Bombay has the potential to generate 1.7 GW (giga watts) of solar energy for electricity, according to a report released by the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and quoted by The Hindu of April 11, 2017. With the central government aiming for 40% of India’s energy to come from renewable sources by 2022, comes news that the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) has led the way.
