Of the nine mobeds led by Ervad Percy Panthaky who performed a hama anjuman jashan at Bai Hirabai Mullan Dar-e-Meher in Tata Baug, Napur on Shahenshahi New Year, August 17, 2017, uniquely, four were under 25 years of age, reports Khurshid Dalal, editor of bawabuzz, the newsletter of the Nagpur Parsi Gymkhana. The assembly of nearly 300 participated in a hambandagi after the jashan. "Cheerful greetings and a photo-session on the steps of the Dar-e-Meher done, the scene moved to the adjacent Dharamshala Hall for the chasni and snacks,” Dalal notes. Nerges and Firoze Karbhari were caterers for the morning. Shernaz and Navroze Daver were major donors for the event, as they have been for the last four years, notes Dalal. On August 22, Khordad Sal was brought in with another jashan, a humbandagi and an evening of games, rounded off with dinner catered by Meheroo Watchmaker, ends Dalal.
