"A dedicated and noble wife, always smiling,” says Bomi Dotiwala of wife and co-actor on the Parsi stage, Dolly, who passed away at the age of 80 on the morning of February 17, 2017. Bomi and Dolly were "popular singing stars before they caught the redoubtable (dramatist Adi) Marzban’s eye,” writes journalist Meher Mafatia in her 2011 book Laughter in the House – 20th century Parsi theater. First seen on stage in the 1961 musical revue Dhong Song (Pretence) and then as dramatic actors in Sagan ké Vagan (Auspicious or inauspicious), the couple acted in 30 plays and 12 variety......
