“The concept of gender…”

I have been reading about the Calcutta agiary debarring entry to Prochy Mehta’s grandchildren ("The concept of gender equality,” Parsiana, July 21, 2017). I would like to ask Mehta a question: In her home, in her children’s rooms or for that matter, even her garden, if she has one, will she gladly allow or permit others to come and play? Will all your readers supporting her, allow this on their property? If not, why do you have to fight a legal battle and force this upon a religious institution? Our ancestors were wise humans who knew how to protect our religion. They knew dissolving will result in destruction. Once again I reiterate, live and let live in peace. If you so want to worship this religion, after knowingly marrying outside, you can build your own places of worship. Why create such a ruckus? Agree with Armin Motashaw. If religion is so important for those married outside then why don't they construct their own Dar-be-mehers and appoint a liberal mobed so that they and their children and go and pay in peace without causing offense to others.
