Adopting furry friends

Fifty-two participants, three adopted pups with four more ongoing, and four foster family registrations marked the pilot event on September 3, 2017 for "Pawportunity,” a project launched by entrepreneur Xenia Master who runs Yiamas: The Experimental Space. The 120 participants interacted with furry animals and purchased treats for them. A donation box for non-governmental organization Welfare of Stray Dogs saw contributions of Rs 6,070 for their project for sterilization of stray canines. In a note received by Parsiana, Master states that "like we search for certain traits in our soul mates, we often times forget we have a list for our ‘furmates’ as well.”        Participants at "Pawportunity": showering love   Seeking to ‘match-make’ stray animals with prospective adoptive families, "Pawportunity” invites registrants, after which their team gets in touch with options, followed up by "a background and environment check to ensure the family that is adopting is equipped mentally and physically to take care of the little ones.”  Interested individuals can contact 07506103464.  ...
