"It was so unreliable that I never knew if I would make the journey from home to hospital in one piece, and my long suffering wife (Jenai), often had to push the bike to get us started,”  Bombay based ophthalmologist Dr Burjor Banaji informed Mid-Day of February 22, 2017, of the first ever motorcycle he had ever owned. Banaji had ridden the Triumph Tiger 500 cc through his years at medical college. "And here we were… reunited after 40 years,” he says, of the tryst he, Jenai and the machine had on February 19. Burjor was one of 100 Parsi motorcycle enthusiasts who got together on that date to "recreate the age-old tradition of the Sunday morning ride,” continued the report. The group showed up for a "slow jaunt from Marine Drive to Bandra Reclamation with "vintage bikes, classic bikes and modern superbikes,” states the report. As expected, a very hearty breakfast at the Parsi Gymkhana followed.     ...
